After leaving Durness, heading east, passing even more beautiful beaches.... We crossed the Kyle of Tongue causway during a rainshower, then continued past more stunning coastline... Today we came across a convoy of germans in Morgans.... but, not matched by the eleven strong, yes eleven, of Italian motorhomes in convoy we met in Durness last night complete with walkie takies.........sorry no pictures ..........Alec..........

Wildcamped in a lay by last night in Melvich, not a hundred yards from the pub!!!! Woke to sunshine, so took a walk around village beaches..... After replenishing supplies in Thurso we backtracked and too the road south through Strath Halladale then east across the moors after Kinbrace.... Ending the day in a lay by beside a Camping Club site by Loch Naver..... .........Alec..................

This is the follow up to convoy 1. After a night on the beach at Androssan Vern and Brian left for home and commitments. Before they left and after I had gone to bed Vern decides its time for a jam session in Ricky's van. I had just dozed off when I thought the Hallie Orchestra had struck up with Sandie and Vern playing violins. I never called the police. . .... Tom ....

Did you notice on the last photos there was no sand on the beach but we made it right by adding Sandie. ( One of Splitty's type of joke ). We then moved on to a holiday camp in lovely settings for showers and things at Glencoe (what a memory). .... Tom ....

This turned out to be quiet a nice day so Sherpa Ricky headed for the summit of Ben Nevis. Us lesser mortals headed for the upper falls of the Ben which was no mean feat in itself. .... Tom ....

Whoops sorry, we have limited space for attachments I think it is around 200 Mb, Either we have to buy more, or I can go back in time and delete some of the older bigger ones. We could afford to buy more as we have some cash in the kitty. Probably best for me to get rid of some old ones though as the extra storage is a regular out-going. I've now freed up 20Mb for you - should be enough for 100-200 of your pics as yours are reasonable size 100-200kb
There were some old threads with items for sale now sold, where people had attached massive pics like 1Mb so hopefully no damage done there now item is sold (Another way you can post pics is to use postimg.org/Browse your drive, upload pic, family safe, show codes, direct link, copy to clipboard, then "paste" ctrl + V in between [ img] and [ /img] tags here (no spaces after the ['s ) This uses off site storage at postimg and doesn't affect our limits here at proboards).

All mine are optimized so should take little room up. How much do they charge for extra space. If it could be a problem in future lets buy some more. We can then delete older ones in future which will probably make them obsolete anyway. I am going to carry on the way I am doing it as it took hours to optimize them before uploading to the site. I do have drop box but I haven't fathomed it out how to get them here yet. I will look into your advice when I get a bit more time. I am sure you will pick the best way, cheers. .... Tom ....

After the Castle this was our next nights stop. I cant remember the name of it but it was a fantastic place on top of a mountain and views for miles. Unfortunately the early evening was Kaisers last day of him being a normal dog as he went into a bout of fits he never fully recovered from. .... Tom ....
