The fires nearly gone out with all that rain we've had here today and more the same for tomorrow  made 60 mince pies today and won a buisciut jointer on eBay ;D |

Still chilly willy here, boiler still broken, plumber came with new fan today and it was wrong one... so another couple of days of strip washes, boiling kettle to wash up and freezing everywhere apart from living room where there's a gas fire. Dont mind that too much actually, getting acclimatised to cold, its the strip washes in cold bathroom that get ne!!

WooHoo... am on hols for 2 wee ks now... got loads to do though and already made good start by sitting on WCforums forat least an hour, luxury!! Off to take van in shortly cos leisure battery not charging up, and now not working electrics even when charged, hope its not too expensive, flippin new fan for boiler is going to cost 210 including labour, could do without that expense.. but not without boiler, so no choice really

I was out late last night (about 4ish) and felt a bit queasy this morning, i arranged to go out but just as I was about to leave some friends came around to drop off xmas prezzies and stayed for a couple of hours. I was pretty pleased really coz I'm off out tomorrow lunchtime, so a day off will do me good.

Yeah still off them Rob, feeling load and load healthier, but annoyingly and stupidly I really miss smoking. Going to stick with it though, still using the fake fag thing that really helps. You are doing really well cutting down so much. Are you still smoking less if having a drink? Thats when I go mad smoking

No, I smoke like a chimney when I drink. Somebody gave me a taylor made in the pub last night, it tasted foul and I had to chuck it away! That's only aftera week or so on rollies!
Keep it up girl, but lay off the mince pies!

Thats one good thing about drinking and not smoking, virtually no hangover. Thanks for encouragement Rob, will keep on trying. Funny how quick you've gone off taylr mades but i know what you mean, defnitley less wholeome!

tailor mades,like a lot of fag papers are impregnated with potassium nitrate which keeps them burning.don't know about today but potassium nitrate,a vital component of gunpowder,was made from old piss.enjoy!

They used to make potassium nitrate (saltpetre) by dumping urine on compost heaps of straw covered from the rain.

notice vern spelt saltpetre right?some fag papers ,like drum.have it ,some don't.if you touch a lit fag against a paper and it keeps smouldering,then it has.and if it makes your fags taste better,its worth the extra risk !

There's something we use in magic called flash paper. It's made by mixing nitric acid with hydrochloric and then soaking into tissue before drying. Quite a few people have blown themselves up making it.
Most explosives seem to use nitric acid in some way- it's nasty stuff! I think cos of the formula HNO3 you get tons of oxygen produced quickly. Just guessing though.

Hi we nearly always freecamp - old age pension gives loads of leisure time but too little money to pay camp site fees. 
The van has solar panel, large water tank So we are pretty self sufficient. Jon
