Thanks Millie, yeah it is surprisingly hard, such a wicked addiction, creeps up on you as soon as you drop your guard. I did have 2 last Fri night at works do but none since, am using one of those fake ciggie things that kust supply nictine and it really does help. Oh and eating myself silly seems to help!!

Oh no, boiler has broken again, plumber fixed it yesterday, fan was not going round, he got it going with some WD40 and encouraging words, and said lets see how long it lasts... well it lasted a few hours!! Now no heating or hot water, and suppose it may be a few days until he can get the part and fit it. Brrrrrrr!!

Here's a cheap heater for you Ann,
Get a small bucket and fill with sand.get all your unsmoked fags and stick filter down in a semi random pattern.Light fags and warm your hands.!!! ;D

Thanks Millie, could do with it being a bit warmer though!!Not impressed with Ellisboys tip, think he's trying to get me back on the fags!! Been out Xmas shopping then in virtual shopping on M&S, thought i'd get a nice new top for Xmas... well, its so easy, none of that trying it on messing about, you can browse for stuff you like, view it from all angles then watch a video of someone wearing it ... next thing you know you've bought 2!!

would love someone to make me a proper treacle sponge and spotted dick well just been sat here most of the day got bad pins needles in feet tried to walk it off but it uncomfortable so been here chucking wood on the fire and keeping the kettle going and doing bacon toasted sarnies

 mi mind just wondered back to mi childhood there for a minute,at home we had a york coal fired cookinrange with open fire (ton of coal free every 6weeks rdad worked at pit)kettle was always simmering,tea pot was always stewin and mi mams legs looked like corned beef from sat in front of fire ;D

ive just had a mince pie and cream for brekkie and trying to resist another one!! But still not smoking... well using one of those fake ciggies, they really work, i know there will be a point when have to stop that too, but feel 200% healthier already, makes a huge differecne to my lungs, can walk uphill now without stopping for rests so very encouraged to keep it up

I've cut down a lot Anne since I've been on the rollies. Probably on about 15 a day now instead of 30 and there is a lot less baccy in each roll up than a normal fag. (let alone less chemicals).

good on you rob troublke is ibeen smoking rollie far too long for it to be a slow process never smoked tailor made apart from when i had accident mind you if you decide that every time you want a ciggie that you have to walk for it that will cut you down a friend of ex's used to keep thiers in bedroom so they had to walk up stairs to get a ciggie they did give in the end

Thats great Rob, yeah they are definitely better than ready mades, and cheaper. I am rubbish at cutting down though, especially after a drink! I think it will have to be all or nothing for me. One good thing though, hangovers are loads better when not smoking (I just wrote when not drinking! doh!) think thats cos I tend to chain smoke if drinking and just poison myself!

I went out last night Anne, but because I am having to roll up to go out for a fag, I tend to be doing it less often. I've got a rotten hangover this morning, but only had half a fag. If I was on taylor mades, I would have had half a dozen by now!

Hi we nearly always freecamp - old age pension gives loads of leisure time but too little money to pay camp site fees. 
The van has solar panel, large water tank So we are pretty self sufficient. Jon
