Anne, we can go up in convoy together, and I can dig you out of the snow, or you and Mia can dig me out when I get stuck!

Yes we are going the second weekend. Have you trained Mia to dig out under the wheels or will she just stand there expectantly with a stick in her mouth?

Sorry Marie, doesn't look like I'll be able to make this now. How am I going to get Splitty's plates to him now? No probs, Rob - if the weather takes a turn for the worse (which it's starting to look like ) then none of us will be making it. I don't think our old girl will perform too well in the snow Yes, I definitely feeling nervous about the white stuff right now.... Life: unfinished threads in a never-ending tapestry

Brewkit, my fault! Had you down on the WC site, forgot to keep this one up to date. Can't send you a message on wildcamping, so will send you my mobile number via here just in case you get stuck or lost, etc. We'll be there Friday, see you then Life: unfinished threads in a never-ending tapestry

Brewkit, there shouldn't be any problem staying in the layby by the bothy on the Thursday night, I may well be around that night getting stuff ready. Or if you want somewhere different but close by, I can suggest Wet Sleddale Reservoir or Roundthwaite View Point near Tebay J38 or slightly further afield (15 miles away) near Kirkby Stephen, there is Tommy Road near Mallerstang. I think these are on the WC POI but let me know if you want exact locations and I'll send you a google map with them on. I also know a few other good spots within about 10 miles of the bothy but don't want to post details publicly as they are only suitable for one van on an occasional basis.

Why? Is it to stop him talking out of it after a few jars of ale But seriously, personally pyrographed ass bungs could become the next big Xmas must-have

I have just checked Vernon and Carol is coming up for the second bothy meet so I will give her the things, I think it is easier cos I was looking for places on M1 to meet and trowel services was the only option, and I did not want to take you too far out of your way but I appreciated your offer. I will include the book "Clan of Cave Bear" with the other stuff so you can try it, if you like it I can lend you the sequel volumes. Gina
