Nice! I need another one. I bought a couple this morning Stephen. They seem to be good quality, handy size with rubberized grip. I've stuck one in the shed and one in the camper.

Aldi today, I bought the following;
2 Ton manual winch - £9.99. Might get me out of trouble, only has 2 metre cable, but I can use it with my tow strop. If it falls to bits after a couple of uses, I've lost a tenner, which is usually what you would give a farmer to tow you out of the mire!
Battery powered syphon pump - £6.99. I have a full tank of diesel in my Citroen van which is not going anywhere for a while, so I might as well pump it into the MH. This will save me getting a mouthfull of diesel. I can also use it at the meets to 'borrow' everybody else's fuel.
Rope Ratchet - £3.99. I bought 2 of these to hang my canoe from the ceiling out of the way in my works unit. Very useful device.
Small square Grill pan - £3.49. I bought this as it is the ideal size for one person camping. They also did small round frying pans and mini woks for the same price.

Saw all that stuff yesterday but ended up with two £19.99 battery drills. One for me and one for the granddaughters husbands birthday. They only have one battery so I thought I would send off for a spare one. The result was this product as been disbanded. These drills are bought with a 3 year guarantee so how will they cover that. It would be cheap enough to buy an extra drill I suppose. .... Tom ....

By the time you get that canoe loaded with all your heaters, stoves, torches, radios and other gear, you'll be swimming behind pushing it; might be worth asking Julie to keep an eye out for flippers!

It's a big old canoe Chris. But that's what I like about them, you can carry a lot more than you can when hiking/camping.

Looks like it, Pen. It says from 20th October. Got one of these from our local Argos clearance store last year, think it was about 15 quid

Our Lidl is closed at the moment, but I can check out Stevenage if I have time.
I wouldn't mind some Bongos too! I played them all night in the yurt at Jackdaw Fest, but I don't think all the neighbours were appreciative.
