A few pics of my conversion The base van - ex Fedex 06 Renault Master LM 35 2.5dCi 120. Donor caravan, Cost £400 which was more than I planned but it was very good inside The first cut!! Fridge vent holes cut...no going back now. From the outside. Hole cut behind drivers seat for caravan window. Window frame made using corners from the caravan...caravan frame too rotten to use Frame bonded on to van...waiting for the tiger seal to dry Window fitted and a caravan roller blind/fly screen fitted 400x400 Roof vent fitted - again pinched from the caravan The wee porthole from the caravan door is going above the sink...Dont need a frame for it, just bond the cut down caravan door on to the side of the van A day or 2 until its finnished but thats a start....got until end of June!!

looking good and a good use of materials..! My conversion is slowly getting there, keep changing my mind though and creating myself more work!, like deciding to ply line the walls after ive put the top cupboards up..lol (it is already insulated and has a fibreglass inner body) I was going to line it with some grey felt i bought off ebay but it wasnt the stretch one and after some thought decided i didnt like it as it would harbour dust etc hence change of mind...lol

I presume you are going to scrap the ally from the caravan and sell the chassis as a trailer to recoup some of the cost?

Im Scottish....goes without saying. daisymini The plans are all in my head so could easily be changed or lost!! Its harder to change your mind once the holes are cut in the walls though!! I definatly know where the fridge is going to go

Ah! brings back so many memories, not least of all how many little jobs there are, it's like building a small house, first fix this, second fix that!! Looking good, keep posting. Paul.
