I installed ad blocker from adblockplus.org/en/But a caveat to other people. Sometimes these blockers can stop other content from working eg Pop up forms as part of a shopping website. That's what has happened to me previously with these. So if something else doesn't appear to be happening, you may need to work round it

Nope they also do it for Chrome adblockplus.org/en/chrome(and Android and Opera if you have either of those) I don't think they do IE - it is not a very nice browser to work with (or use!) so the free software developers don't often support it. There's maybe someone else who does.

True... that little three lines icon on Chrome holds a lot of secrets!
For example I like a Home button where I store an online or offline page with a load of personal links. I use this instead of the favourites feature.
It can be added on with Chrome and Firefox as can everything else but you do have to mess around somewhat... this is something I feel they could have made a lot more intuitive.
Once you are set up though you should find it's a lot faster than IE and a lot safer surfing the web. Chrome especially is good - Firefox has got a bit bloated but it's still miles better than IE. I only use Firefox on this machine because the OS doesn't support Chrome (I use Chrome and Opera otherwise)
