After using the van for a while I've decided to change the dinette area.At the moment it consists of a forward facing bench and double passenger seat.As I don't have a single passenger seat yet ,there are no swivels fitted. This makes it quite cramped with the table up.The solution is to take the bench apart and build a sideways facing settee. When the front seats are done this will give much more internal space at the front. It's not a big job, only need to move both fuse boxes, battery box and some plug sockets.

Get those swivels in, chap!
Another thing I changed on mine was give myself the option of a smaller table to increase space.
Originally I had a 900x600 or 1200x600 table which was great for Xmas dinner but otherwise massive. My standard is a 700x600 or 530 diameter now which is fine for most situations.

Yes probably going to use a free standing table. The sliding rail and adjustable leg are going to be re used too.By shortening the rail and screwing it to the back ofthe kitchen unit, the table can be hooked on when the sliding door is open. This allows for alfresco dining.
