One newspaper has 3 weeks of cold weather and -14 temps predicted. I don't think it will be that bad but are you prepared for the cold!?

Probably! Though it has got very much colder over the last couple of days. No snow though and no sign of -14 so the Jury is still very much out

No I think about -8 was the coldest we had out in the Chilterns, though there is a place called frost hollow near Chesham where the temperature was -12
