Hi anyone seen these shower mixer taps anywhere. Ive been scanning the net but with no luck up to now. There is no make on them and it must be about 26 years old. It had a small drip on it so I thought I would look into it and maybe put a couple of O rings in if needed. When I took it apart it flew into a thousand pieces with O rings, metal, washers, springs, wedge shaped rubber washers, and a very delicate micro switch. The system is a pressure system so dunno what the micro switch does but it is connected. When I got it all back together with a couple of new O rings the result was little drip now a little dribble. So need a new mixer tap the same as the one below. .... Tom ....
Its a single lever tap with dual hot and cold water selections.
This is the business part of the Jobby that is causing the problems. any leads will be well appreciated. images hostingupload pictures

O'Leary motorhomes may be able to help if you ring them, although I can't see anything quite like it in their shop: link

Good tip caz although when I was going through options for taps I don't recall seeing much like that, it is an old fitting. Micro-switch will usually activate the pump but unusual on a pressure system as you say Tom Did you replace the switch? Cos they have a habit of failing due to the damp conditions and it may be part of the sensing. Or maybe try disconnecting the switch and see what happens!

The switch is not the problem Vern, it is water getting through the mixer valve and dripping out of the shower come tap head. Every time the pressure drops the pump kicks in and we nearly jump out of bed in the middle of the night. We have to turn the pump switch off over the bulk head in the cab at the other end of the van. If we want water we then have to walk down the van again to switch it on. I thought I would soon find one but not seen anything remotely like it. I have a feeling its a Truma as everything else in the van seems to be. .... Tom ....

Just to finish this thread. I also put the problem on the other site WC. Who came up with a solution none other than Wintonian, he found a tap under Hymer mixer taps. They are either made by Hymer or made for Hymer by someone else. I don't know why they cant put the make on the product to make finding parts easier, but they don't. And why would a Hymer part be on a Burstner anyway. It is definitely part of the original build. Well got one on order now so all done and dusted. .... Tom ....
