Hope you do go cos I wanna go, not sure if I will be able to get up to see them at Knockengorroch.
Friday night tickets also include Roomful of Mirrors (a local Cumbrian band, played at Full Moon Club I think) and Badly Drawn Boy, as well as Peatbogs.
Not sure about parking yet, may be able to get away with staying in car park on Friday night or may need to park out of town and walk / taxi in for the evening concert.

I'm pretty definite, the only slight problem could be getting tickets. I'm assuming tickets will be available there. Not sure about buying online as can't print them out if they are that sort of ticket. Though at Ferocious Dog Gig recently, they operated a system where you just give your name and last 4 digits of credit card you booked with. Then show them the card and they give you a wristband. Very neat, and no printing out of tickets or other ID required.

I've got 3 tickets now. Bought online as the box office in Keswick not open till tomorrow. I have been along to Lakeside twice.
I thought I had better get them as some events seem to be sold out already and this may be popular.

Bloody fabulous. And wet. Having first listen to new album right now, parked up at Castlerigg Stone Circle for the afternoon. Tracks 1-4 of new album are bloody fabulous too... A must see live band, one of my all time faves. I think all 3 of us really enjoyed the evening.
Keswick was horrible this morning though, full of people, kids, dogs, cars, bicycles, coaches, minibuses etc, had a bit of a panic attack trying to park in Booth's car park to get milk and use loo. We had to move from the central car park at 11 am as parking charges start at 8am, 3 hours was £3.70 ( I couldn't afford to pay more) so we were ok till 11 am but I suspect the wardens will be out today as its so busy there this weekend (Keswick mountain festival). Gave up on the milk, just used the loo at Booth's and got the f*** out of there as quick as poss, headed for some peace and quiet at Castlerigg. Although now that the Peatbogs new album is playing loud, its not very quiet or peaceful here now ;-)
Castlerigg is worth a visit when you are heading south, a lovely stone circle, smaller than Stonehenge but pretty much intact and stunning surroundings (in good weather). I've overnighted here a few times so you should be ok but avoid arriving mid daytime as it can get busy and limited parking, aim for teatime arrival on a good weather day and enjoy a lovely sunset from here. Decent mobile reception too. And ice cream van :-)

Great gig. Faeries were fantastic - I bought a CD and recorded some footage too. I will try to post for you in the coming days, so watch this space.
They have mastered all musical genres, so you get sometimes a heavy trance techno beat for a while, them overlain by lilting melodies of pipes and the fiddle, then it switches to just drums and a lead guitar solo giving a latin feel. They don't bother with too much talking and name dropping between tracks either so it is one continuous wall of contrasting musical experiences. Never a dull moment in their concerts.

They have a couple of gigs coming up at Tring and Buryfields in a couple of weeks. Looking forward to seeing them again. Last time was Cropredy.

They were very good, have seen them a couple of times before and they get better every time. Thanks for getting the tickets for us. Keswick car park was a nightmare. Jazz had a quick walk at about 7:30 while I fed the ticket machine for 3 hours 8 - 11am, but by the time I'd woken up properly, dressed etc and fed him, the van was boxed in and I couldn't open the door for him to get out for another walk - so I had to wriggle the van out and go and find a layby out of town so he could relieve himself. Castlerigg is well worth a visit, thanks for leading me there!
