This one has a 4.3 inch screen and got good reviews. I can't say I have tried it though. www.amazon.co.uk/4-3-Monitor-Camera-Reversing-Waterproof/dp/B0091Q1CGA/One thing I am doing now is looking in the passenger wing mirror and really concentrating where the back wheel is in relation to the kerb. Helps for parallel parking. I am almost plotting the track of the back wheel. I was crap at reversing my van at first but got much better at it over the years.

i'm pretty good at reversing, with and without trailers, and i love having a camera ! it makes life so much easier ,especially parking between cars. i can reverse up to an inch from the bumper behind while getting the front in. i made mine from an old 7inch telly and a camera from maplins. first, get a 7inch screen second, don't get one for 40 quid off ebay like i did for my daughter-complete waste of dosh third, some people say wireless kits can pick up interference i've wired mine to a switch, rather than the reversing light. i stop,go into reverse, flick the camera on -easy ,but i can also check out the axe murderer lurking behind my van

Hehehe. Just checked your thread over there. I reckon we've given you more useful links so far... and the other thread may well develop into a violent argument about Nigel Farage any second

i didn't know there were so many axe murderers about ! christ ,when you add all the stranglers, shooters, hammerers, slashers and gashers, smashers, flashers and bashers, twiddlers, diddlers and fiddlers, smackers and hackers, streakers andtweakers, spankers, crankers and wankers- you wouldn't catch me wild camping on me own ! fortuitously i go with my wife, and i've persuaded her that it's better that she sleeps nearest the door, so when the maniac gets in and attacks, she can keep him engaged while i collect my thoughts and get my shoes on

You see the one about the fleece on the threshing floor? Well you know, the fleece is the camper and the floor is the space we are reversing into. When there is dew on the floor and the fleece is dry, you have indeed reversed successfully! Just ask me anything about the bible; I am a true scholar of it, which of course entitles me to interpret it in any way

Indeed that is what they were told it was written, one who spills his seed upon the ground is truly a Wild Motorspanking Onanist (Genesis 38)

You're scaring me now! For some reason I remember looking Onanism up in the dictionary when quite young, so I've known that word for longer than I should have!

Its going all over the place the thread that is ! Yep, and still haven't got a clue about which reversing camera! I would be more worried about the gear box if I was you coz you can't reverse without it, camera or no camera. If you can get over I will take a look at it for you. .... Tom ....

Its going all over the place the thread that is ! Yep, and still haven't got a clue about which reversing camera! you need to decide a few things first
what size screen ( notice I resisted the urge for a double entendre there )
how many cameras and what view required and on all the time or switched manually or automatic
how much do you want to pay
