Please post in this thread for what you would like to eat on the 29th at the Crown at ColdertonI think the idea is that you give some indication of pre-order and then pay on the day. I'm sure you could probably change your mind on the day, it's just the landlord wants to get an idea of numbers and what food to get in. Here are some links to the menus at the Crown General food pageXmas MenuTypical MenuEdit: Just to make clear, the handfasting is 1.00 pm at Avebury and the meal at the pub will follow on probably about 6.00pm and onwards on 29th Dec 2012

It's 6.00pm or so whatever you call that meal In the other thread, handfasting locations it gives rough timings for everything.

It's 1.30pm or so whatever you call that meal In the other thread, handfasting locations it gives rough timings for everything. I think we have told the landlord the evening around 6 or 7 ! Was thinking maybe a quiet afternoon getting there and setting ourselves up but am open to suggestions as my organisation skills are fairly rubbish these days ! While writing this the guys doing our ceremony have had to change the time to 1.0 clock also was thinking we might serve a mulled wine after for everyone or fruit juice for those that wish !

The timings are making more sense now, put us down for mulled wine please, yum/glug! We're happy to make some of the gluwein/mulled wine and have got some nice plain french cake to go with it!

We were a bit worried about getting there for 12 so 1 is far better for us.
Do we still have to pre-order food for the evening?
