Cannot even find a sinal with the cheap and nasty aerial on this thing ! Wind it this way then that and zilch . Think I will stick to kicking dogs and pushing small children off their bikes for entertainment !!!!

You need a wire coathanger, and a lot of patience to find that exact spot where it works. Then no one can move in case the vibrations dislodge it slightly. You might need a volunteer to stand holding the wire coathanger for the duration of the programme, this is what I have to do in the van to find a radio station on my old fashioned radio, with the dial you have to twiddle, made many years ago before digital radio was even thought of. I seem to get much better reception when holding aerial for some reason.

I used to use an old portable TV aerial with the help of an app on my iPhone that told me the best signal strength & direction. Last year I got a multidirectional digital 'DTA240' aerial - its small & cheap & doesn't need any fiddling about with. Can get it from Amazon, Ebay etc. That useful to ya?

Wow... is it battery operated and is it fully washable? Nah, just a straightforward plug in to TV. 'Fraid it doesn't vibrate or anything REALLY useful like that. Its small, metal, durable and cold - might get the adult channels for yer, if that's any use?

Not really... I don't watch any TV let alone the adult channels, gulp! Probably washable and durable would be more important

Rock and Roll bed , yes!! ... we are quite musical generally, though. I'm working hard on Streets of London on the guitar - shame I can't sing very well

With the shortage of space in campervans this is ideal, an arial that can multitask was an inspiring idea.
