Diesel can get a bit thick in colder weather. I didn't think it was cold enough for that though. Turn it on and off a few times. It works for my gas heater when there is air in the line.

NIGEL What is a Moroccan Heater ? Well the girl had a go I have read manual know it's under the bus not in it looked at it can't find fuse ? No fuse inside in fuse box ? Cant clean the air intake pipe as it us built into a cupboard and it won't come apart I have tried I can't make out the flash code it could be three or four ? That's not enough power or to much, or ignition not working I will be looking over the shoulder of the repair man to learn more he won't like me lol And my nails are dirty

Penny forget the heater put an extra jumper on and then try jogging on the spot that should warn you up but hang onto the tahities as we don't want any black eyes.

Well I got wrong fuse it was so well hidden the engineer struggled to find it so it starts and then cuts out on full power keeping the heater in for an operation to find out what's wrong I get bus to live in and put on hook up The air intake has be located so I can check that and the fuse left in my sight replacing the ignition is a bit beyond me as once replaced the fuel system needs to be bled !!!!!!! COFFEE

All mended I am warm again big bill £500 if it hadn't been under warranty ! The glow pin was bent causing the burner to overheat I now know lots about my Webasto like it turns off when engine ignition goes on, it has a efficiency setting unlike other heaters to help the battery, I can change the fuses and have a couple of freebies if it has to many false starts I can do the fuse thing to unlock it, it needs a yearly service and every second year a bigger service, the intake pipe needs cleaning a healthy charged battery means it doesn't wear the unit out so quick and they are very expensive to buy so hope it lasts 10 years now
£500 for a repair to a heater ??! You can buy a complete Propex new for £390. They don't half try it on, some of these guys

Glow pin alone £100 don't know price of burner ! What's a propex heater ? A new webasto would be 1500 I think he said ? And it was a least a day half of labour ? Anyways did not pay thank him

Anyways did not pay thank him Propex is like a gas burner which does exactly the same as Webasto, blown air heating, but uses propane gas instead of diesel.

Seems a bit steep for that repair but there you go these things are not cheap and neither is time these days. I have done many repairs on Eberspachers and they are damn expensive for the main items like motors and control boxes at around £250 each at trade prices, this is why I like the Mikuni MY 30's parts are a lot cheaper with the dearest part being the control box. I think if I was faced with a £500 repair bill I would replace the complete heater with something like the MV airo it's only 2kw output but that's adequate for most vans it's made by Mikuni now but is basically a Webasto, I have to fit one to a customers vehicle soon so I'll get a chance to check one out properly. By the way penny if you ever need any other parts its worth checking this site out sales.butlertechnik.com/webasto/webasto-service-kits/webasto-thermo-top-heater-burner-kit-diesel-12v-92995c note the complete burner assembly including the glowpin £140 also a lot of info on the heaters on there
