I bet that was a pig of a job was it not. I think there are two models of that Alko rear axle. I remember a guy trying to find a second hand axle has the model he had could not be repaired. He could have got a replacement from Alko but it was over £2000. He was still looking for one the last I heard of him. .... Tom ....

had to have a word with a man when I hit a wall trying to remove the near side swing arm, He said that they split the outer axle tube to ease the arm to remove them when they are sizes but then said to thrash it with a 14 lb hammer first, So I got 2 calour torches on the outer tube till it got hot then gave it some welley & it let go, Had 4 new bushes made by a local enginering works put them in & its OK after about 6000 miles total cost ( less my time ) £20

4 bolts on each plate each side & the axle will drop out then take it out from under the camper & go for it
