Paid a visit to The Sand Boy last night. It wasn't open. Is this usual on a Monday?
Couldn't get through on the 'phone either.

As far as I know he is open 7 days.
Although he closed about 8pm on Sunday...
I hope he hasn't given up already. We reckoned it would not be easy to make a go of it. They were struggling with the Thai food even with small numbers of covers.

I wasn't feeling well anyway, and it would have been a bit dodgy staying under the trees overnight, so I went home.
Anybody planning to go there though, it might be worth ringing first.

Paid a visit to The Sand Boy last night. It wasn't open. Is this usual on a Monday? Couldn't get through on the 'phone either. ...We Told the L/Lord not to Let Anyone in if They Were n't at the Meet!!! Seriously tho' Rob, the Place is a Bit of an 'Un-Known Quantity'.....We Only Turned Up There Once Prev. in February & were the Only Ones in the Pub.....On a Saturday Night! Pub Has Changed Hands Since, With the Incumbent L/Lord Only There for (Now) 13 Weeks. Sorry You Did n't Get in M8.....You Would've been OK to Park Up O'Night tho'....They Shut the Pub Sunday; With Us Still Parked & Charlie Stoking the Fire! |

We were more worried about being under the trees Glenn, what wiv thurricane approaching overnight. I really didn't mind as I felt rough as a Badgers ass, (and still do!). Nice place though. |

Hi we nearly always freecamp - old age pension gives loads of leisure time but too little money to pay camp site fees. 
The van has solar panel, large water tank So we are pretty self sufficient. Jon
