So....Anyone Else Up for This? Yes I think I can do this one, provided I am not playing bridge down at Brighton, which I don't think I am this year.

Not many here. Still having a great time though. Venue really weird. A 60 year old rambling leisure centre that is totally run down and falling to pieces.
Two stages - they cocked up the speakers for the first 10 bands, it was all too loud. Spent most of last night in a Yurt playing guitar and bongos. Some of the artistes came in and jammed along, that was quite cool. Stayed up to 5.00am

Yes Glenn with me. Said Hi We had a couple of bbq's in the car park. Salmon, onions, green beans, veg curry, rice - all healthy stuff. Will post some pics of the unique venue later. Band report - I didn't see very many. All the bands during the day were mainly hard rock and had the sound turned up too high; it was mostly rubbish. They seemed to sort it out for the headline bands later on. Here and Now - 9/10 Psychedelic rock very polished. Longstanding band, Glen's Fave. Arthur Brown - 8/10 Varied act, very entertaining Nukli - 7/10 Hard psychedelic rock. Lots of effects. Good sound from a 3 piece. Underground Zero - Space rock 7/10 Paradise 9 - 6/10 Didn't really see enough of them Loads of other bands on two stages most of them pretty crap(2,3,4's/10) and I only saw a few numbers. Sound far too high. Most bands only had about 15 people watching them. Headline acts had "crowds" of maybe 50-60. Small festival. I'd think maybe only 60-70 in total attendees and many of them seemed to be performers. I think they must have made a big loss - taking £50 a head, £3500 at the most. The expenses for the venue, sound and bands would surely run to £10,000 or more.

No probs Glenn - a few pics... BBQ camping in the barren car park The grungiest venue ever. Colchester "Arena" Toilets held together with bits of wood, bricks, and sticky tape! The Yurt Nukli on the bar stage - space/heavy rock with effects (not bad actually) The bar Here and now. Dancing girl. Played to a "packed" crowd of 50 on Sunday night! More Here and Now And more (spot Glenn!) This is what the whole weekend was about. 15 Mins of storming psychedelic space rock with pretty good lighting. And again. Top class act to finish with, and they made sure the sound levels were right too.

Need a tripod for that lighting condition... and if you use a flash, you don't get the atmosphere.
Though my last couple at least are not too blurry and I think I got a nice blue and purple lighting moment. I couldn't fault the stage lighting effects, it was the sound they had trouble with.
I stalked down one of those psychedelic colour propeller things... have one on order from scambay!
