Over so soon! ... Wasnt feeling too good Saturday morning, but after a visit to the local boot sale to look for some horse brasses to hang in the van,we then went clothes shopping for swmbo in Chelmsford.Surprisingly I wasnt curling my toes in frustration as we walked round the shops! Still feeling rough though. Anyways, we arrived at Bradders pm.It was raining, so we had to sit in the van...not good for my depression or my unwelness, I was p****d off! Had a pint in the pub, went to a school fete opposite the pub, then decided to call it a day and go home.Fired up the van, went to pull out, steering was tight as a nuns chuffer.Feeling ill I decided to suffer the lack of powersteering and just drove it home.On looking this morning found power steering pump belt had jumped off the pulleys, not broken.Hmmm, Strange! Probably the tensioner. So will have to get a new one fitted.Think I'll get the other belt done as well, and get a spare for each. I think Bradwell will always have a mental block for me now, as the place that we had probs at!! Sorry to ramble!

Yeah, maybe Glenn.
Bit of an update on my belt slippage prob....theres 2 belts.I bought 2 of each, to replace both and have 2 spares.Had to get someone to replace them for me, as cant bend down.Turns out that one of the pulleys was damaged (bent outer lip).Sorted this, and then found that the bracket that holds the PS pump was broken in half (cracked across the bolt holes)! Causing the pump to waggle around held by 2 bolts instead of 4.So got the bracket off with a view to welding it.It was cast , so couldnt do it myself.Getting it properly welded tamara .Then found one of the bolts needed helicoiling. .p****d off its broken, but at least it happened here and not on our hol run to France.
