This is also on the other site.
I am putting this on here as the naturist group has died down a bit.
I have just spent three delightful days at a farm in Norfolk.
Have to admit that I was a bit apprehensive as the place used to have a bad name. But a couple who live near me put a post on Camping forum about their stay there a few weeks ago and it was all pose tive so I thought I would check it out.
WOW! The place has certainly changed since I was last there 15 years ago. LOL.
Lovely field with hedges all round but no neighbours anyway. A few caravans store there and used at week ends. There was a small group of gays but they were harmless and great fun and laffs all round.
They now have an above ground pool in a large poli tunnel. which they were planting this week end to make it a pleasant place to sit in bad weather. The showers are just a large wet room off a changing room there are just two shower heads but I found it sufficient although the place was very busy this week end. The caravaners tend to use there own facilities. Two toilets and hand basins also urinals. A washing up place and stand pipe water dispenser. Hot water on all the time at no extra cost. There is a hot tub in a large wooden building with patio doors which has to be booked by a group and paid for sepperately. There is grey disposal But NO RUBBISH disposal. everyone has to take their own rubbish away with them. This helps to keep the cost of the pitch down to a very reasinable £8 a night. There are EHU's but I forgot to ask what the cost was, as I dont use one.
I found everyone very friendly and helpful and the whole place was peaceful and quiet. Bar B's are allowed and you can have a fire with a fire pit. but must let them know first so that they can move any livestock from near by, so the smoke don't upset them..
There are resident ducks which seem to know what time you are having a meal as they all line up outside your van and just look at you. LOL A very good pond with a swan and a few moorhens, Dogs must be on a lead at ALL times as it is part of a working farm. They breed Guernsey cattle.
If anyone is interested in a meet here please message me with a suggested date and I shall try and get it off the ground.
My dates are second week end in August at the mo.
N>B: I will not answer messages or list names on the open forum. So if interested please message me only.
