You guys are very anti the dark side have you actually read that thread it was a guy praising Carol about going to France on her own and getting through the difficulty of the accident and he said that he didn't go abroad as he was scarred of driving on the roads in Europe and others are giving him advice and others agreeing with him. I haven't seen any arguing on that thread.both sites have good and not so good points and i have not seen anyone on the dark side making any comments about what is chatted about on here, and there was massive support for Carol on the other forum.

I hate football so I never watch it if it comes on I either switch off /over. I don't want to fall out with anyone I love both sites. I have good friends on both.

Yep as I thought imcompetent and only takes a few minutes to get used to another vehicle ?
I am lucky as started driving abroad at around 19 years old so to me is easy but can see why many would be apprehensive .
I have made mistakes and seen plenty who have too .
I used to go with my mates dad who had driven abroad from his national service days and was a regular there so learnt a lot, much of it bad too as he knew every wrangle going down to turning up at the port booking in on standby and then swapping the window stickers from some poor sods car that was in the cafe !
Always on red diesel too and on a long trip a drum was left in some forest for the return trip .
Drove an old bedford CF camper on a few trips and lucky to get 45 mph downhill had to park on a hill to start it which is fun in Holland !
