Hey
I am planning to go to Download this year (mainly because i want to see the awesome Steel Panther but i guess Aerosmith are ok too! lol) but only for one day on the Sunday.
I was wondering if anyone knows of anywhere near the festival ground that i can rock up and park for free Saturday and Sunday night?
It's a long way from here to the event, maybe 3 hours so don't really want to drive it in one day!
Also worth mentioning here that although my profile pic is pink hair i am actually very blonde so get lost very easily and scatty doesn't even come close to me!
Thanks y'all
E

I work in donnington, all the local laybys and field entrances are blocked off for download. you could try the industrial estates, the one I work one is quiet at weekends, stick DE74 4UD in google maps and have a look. its a bit of a walk to donno track tho.

Do they block the field entrances and laybys to stop people like me? Lol... Industrial estates always a good alternative for overnighters on the weekend and distance not an issue as there are a few of us going so suspect the beer feet will make the journey shorter than it looks! Journey back will be interesting that's for sure! Will check it out... Thanks very much... x

The Words 'Free' & 'Festival' tend not to be found together these Days......
