Ron and I (mainly me) wave at all motorhomes and campervans - most wave, some do not (they usually look quite po faced) having said that Ron does enjoy waving now - sometimes I wave and it has been a Tesco van (they are quite deceiving) - does anyone else wave

Hi Gina & the loverly Ron I wave to all MH campervans even if they are towing a trailer tent although I do get a strange wave back from some of them.

Nope, I don't bother waving cos nobody will recognise my van, with its motorhome stealth cloaking device.

I always wave. Don't always get a response, but I'm not bothered. No response could be a) cos they haven't seen you cos they're concentrating on driving (quite right! ) b) they didn't see you til it was too late c) they're miserable b*ggers I'm jumping up and down like a little kid when anyone waves back. Shows what an exciting life (not!) I lead most of the time

People in the old v dubs always wave(d) at each other. Don't know if they still do but when I see them I always want to wave but think they're looking at me and thinking I've sold out!! I recently passed a vw exactly same type and colour as mine and we waved and grinned at each other as we passed, like we were old friends! I carried on with a big happy smile on my face but not sure why!

I don't wave, it's an old LDV, take one hand off the wheel for to long and I'll be in a ditch.

Remember nodding dogs in the back windows of cars? I have seen a wobbly waving hand that must have been stuck with a suction cup to the inside of a windscreen. Perhaps if you can source / make one you'll have the most safe / democratic / sensible solution!

Nobody waves at me ? oh poor you, I would send you lots of waves but can't find one in the smilies, there is some thumbs up, so sent those instead. We do try to wave, as good to feel part of something, did the same when we had a boat and a Landrover.

As Ive said before.I cant imagine anyone waving to us, they dont even realise its a campervan, and if they do , they wouldnt want to be associated with my shed of a van anyway!
