I asked my daughter to go online and get me some tickets to see Kate Bush when they went on sale on Friday. She managed to get the last 2 of the hospitality tickets. I left her my debit card to pay for them, which she did.
I am now £850 lighter in the pocket!
To be fair she had to make an instant decision to buy or not to buy, but she knew I really wanted to go so she went ahead, and you do get a Champagne reception with a hamper of food before the concert starts.
I would have quite happily gone without the reception though for cheaper tickets!
The standard £135 tickets sold out within minutes of going on sale and were reappearing on the internet minutes later at over £1000. Ludicrous.

At that price she'll cope! We'll see. By the way, my daughter saw Rod Stewart on his last tour and said he was brilliant.

Yes please! All that quality food and drink followed by Kate Bush! Those wooden seats you sell must stand you in good stead! Well I'll expect some KB music bumped off your tablet, ta! My grandson, who is at uni in London, got a ticket but I don't think you'll be bumping into him! Soooooooo jealous!

I went to the concert last night, well, more of a show than a concert really. Julie wasn't well enough to go, so I took a mate.
What an experience! Stunning effects, and what a stunning voice. When she sat down at the piano and did a couple of slow songs, she sounded like Streisand. She didn't do much of the older stuff, only Hounds of Love and Running up that Hill, and for an encore she did Cloudbusting. There were people of all ages, and from all over the world. Stunning show.
The pre-concert hospitality package was good too. Posh nosh, and plenty of it, Champers and Beer, and we shared a table with Judith Hahn (used to do 'Tomorrow's World'), I'm not impressed with celebrity very much, but she seemed very nice.
