WindDancer asked me to put this on, if anyone fancies wild camping at Shustoke Reservoir car park on 7-9 March, and maybe checking out some of Crufts at the NEC exhibition centre (which is just about 5 miles from the reservoir). carparkmaps.co.uk/carparks/view/4699

It's all go Sorry for the short notice, so far there are 5-6 of us going along for this. It's a good chance to meet up in a central location, but....... with an added bonus (optional)! I will be participating with my dog at Crufts on the Sat. It would be great to have some supporters come along too If anyone is planning on going to the show (but not camp) let me know and I'll tell you where you can find us if you like. Alternatively we have a plan in action for free camping.

Unfortunately I can't make it this year, got too much going on at the moment, and am booked on a Nuno Felting course (What's Nuno Felting? I'll post a thread with some piccies after the course) on the Saturday. Next year... maybe me and Diesel will be competing in Obedience See them flying pigs... ? Good luck Chris, I'm happy to pass on my Team Corrie T-shirt to anyone who is going - I can post it - it's not huge size, probably size 12. It has sat in a drawer since this time last year and it would be good for it to get some more use. Just PM me with an address and the first one to do so gets it... (in return for a goodie bag of Crufts goodies! )

Just a heads up to all heading to Crufts/Shustoke from the South East. Been on Highways Agency site and found this: 'The M40 will be closed between J15 and the M42, due to roadworks, between 8 pm and 8 am, from 7 March 2014 to 9 March 2014'. There are also other various slipway closures so just check your route before you leave as this is the way we would have been going!

Hey Chris would you like to take Kaiser with you to keep them three reprobates in hand. He will show them how to be obedient and teach them to walk like catwalk models. Just quietly drop by and pick him up. He is asleep next to me here but if he knew that I was talking about him he would have a fit. Good luck at the show. .... Tom ....

Had a great weekend. Saw the doggie competitions on Saturday and also met up with 2madcollies Then on Sat night we went to the reservoir car park. Stayed there till Monday morning. Thanks to Karen and Chris for the meals! Had a surprise visit from Al, so it was a 5 van meet. Sunday was a great day for walking with the nice weather and we also camped out in the car park and watched the rugby on Penny's phone. Well done to England again!
