I think fake. Maybe a cup of cold water could freeze but pee is coming out at 38 degrees C. There's no way it will cool that fast.

I told Wintonian that once and he suggested that I'd been the subject of a practical joke. He did acknowledge that I was in fact right later though.

Surely you must realise by now that Wintonian knows everything and us underlings must never contradict him as we are not worthy.

Depends on the exact temp of the water, it's not linear. There's evidence that very hot water eg 90 degrees freezes faster possibly due to convection currents spreading ice crystals, they are still not sure. But room temp water eg 25 degrees freezes slower than icy cold water at 5 degrees.

Minus 20 is the coldest I have tried to pee in, and that works fine. I guess if it gets down to minus 30 or 40 it could be different.

Should be OK for 30 secs, especially as you have core central heating at 38 degrees running through the part concerned

as we're on the subject,i once had bit of pain weeing, quite common with scrumpy drinkers ! got some pills off the doc that turned my wee a lovely bright blue.lasted a couple of weeks, word got around and I couldn't pee without an audience as nobody had heard of this happening ! anyway it slowly turned to green then normal again. so if you want to impress your friends, get some Methylene Blue

Turns it bright red. It has more effect if you whistle whilst urinating in the public WC, as if you are oblivious.
