Just a thought. OK I know I shouldn't. But if next time we are at the stones I take a mower and cut FMUK in large letters round the outside of the ring we could photo that.  |

I think it depends on the group's preferences and I kept it as neutral as possible, but also to suit the website (if it goes ahead).

Logo looks good. Maybe needs a FMUK adding.
We can have a sunset skin for the board to go with the website. It doesn't need to be the default skin as I think many people wouldn't get on with orange and yellow for board colour but it could be available for those that want.
Could do the skin to match the website.

I like both but favour the stones because they are a world recognised symbol of British/English.

I like the stones too. I chose the sunset as a more generic theme of 'freedom' and settling down cosily for the night rather than linking free motorhoming to a specific location, particularly a well-know location as there may be some controversy here! FMHUK would be added to the website banner but a 'Free Motorhoming UK' and the website address could be added beneath the logo in orange or black on the white background. Yes, I deliberately avoided a coachbuilt van  |

I can have a go with one based on sunset and stones and van. It doesn't need to be Stonehenge, just generic stones maybe?

I definitely prefer the stones and would prefer more subtle colours. There's a time and a place for orange!

This would be the full banner which would co-ordinate with the website if it goes ahead: Nothing is fixed. This is just an idea but I'm using the website as a starting point, rather than the logo, so that I can produce something whereby the two could match and co-ordinate. Attachments:

IT looks fantastic, I take my earlier comment about it needed to be more symbolic or what ever, its looks perfect with the wording now. Well.. FF will be very interested to see what you can do with the stones - what a lot of talent we have on here!

There's a lots of different ideas for logos etc It's unlikely that one design will suit everyone so while we may have an "official" one at some stage, please feel free to make your own too  You can play around in photoshop like the posters in this thread and feel free to use the Letters FMUK or the URL: freemotorhominguk.com in whatever way you like - we are not a commercial site or into copyright crap and all free spirits here so anything goes! Do it as you see it. Then print out your design, laminate it, and put it in your van window as you see fit Voila -your very own logo/sticker! |
