Message just received from Corbridge Festival: "We encourage campers to secure their plot early as camping sold out last year, but as things stand there are still plenty of pitches. We have a hard standing area for caravans and campervans" WindDancer must have been looking at last years info, maybe?

WindDancer must have been looking at last years info, maybe? I followed the link at the start of this thread to 'camping'. I presumed it was valid for 2014. Perhaps someone could add the correct link for camping that does not claim it's full.

Not sure where you've been looking but I just checked the link and it went straight through to this years's festival, so somehow you've managed to click on a link for last year. This year's line up has not yet been announced so I think the acts featured in the slideshow (eg Toploader etc) are last years's acts.

Jess's link at the top of the thread takes you straight through to the 2014 page, no presumption as 2014 written all over I booked our tickets from there no bother

So no mad rush then. WVW, Marie, Vernon, Anne are you going? I want to go as a band I like is playing but can't afford ticket until there's an improvement in my financial situation, whenever that may be.

So no mad rush then. WVW, Marie, Vernon, Anne are you going? I'd like to go, but it's too far for me for a day's festival. Oh well.... can't do them all, but I hope everyone who wants to go can make it in the end, and you all have a great time there

Gaz - times have changed!! I got taken out of our company sick pay scheme last year cos I had too much time off (all genuine)...you can only have 3 bouts in any one rolling 12 month period, I fought it as I was outraged but just ended up alienating myself from the whole HR department, getting very upset and all for nothing... apparently we are contracted to work, not to be off sick - and sick pay is a benefit we are lucky to have!! Worse when I asked around I found a lot of companies are doing this now. One guy at my work got taken out after he had a heart attack and had had follow up appointments at the hospital - its unbelievable isn't it - except its true!! And I work for a FTSE 100 company

I used to be a capalitist but really am going communist now as have seen it is really best to have nothing then you do not have to worry about anything !

This year's line up has not yet been announced so I think the acts featured in the slideshow (eg Toploader etc) are last years's acts. I can't say clearer than I've already said. I used the link at the start of this thread, no other one I promise! Perhaps someone else can post the link to the 'camping' page that they are getting that's different from me. Jess's link at the top of the thread takes you straight through to the 2014 page, no presumption as 2014 written all over If you look more closely it says 2014 at the top of page and 2013 under two headings at the bottom right of the same page. I deduce m'lud that their site is poorly managed and they have left several aspects of last years festival in place.

A lot of festival sites seem to be like that, but sometimes they don't know line ups till quite near the date so they leave old stuff up as an example of what to expect, rather than have nothing. I agree it can be confusing.

Jess is lending me on of her really big dog cages, Onion You can make it your own little world. We already know the world is just a great big onion Yes, me and Neil will be there. We're going up Thursday as my sister wants something doing at a house she's moving to in Corbridge. Chris, Onion, Alec, can't remember if Jess had tickets, but think she might be elsewhere this week? Had thought the full moon club this week was going to be at Banjobilly's place, but it's back at the bothy, so not too sad about missing it this time. Gaz mentioned Mary might be going, but don't know for sure. See you there anyways

your post has reminded me to check stocks, I'm well stocked on the fake pimms 2 in the van and a large one in the house cocktail cabinet just swopped over almost empty bottles of baileys and vodka for full ones but the gin stocks are low only 1/4 lt in the van will have to get to Aldi as their gin is good for the price also need more lemonade and vegetation to go in the fake pimms
