Donations ?
Money should be donated for maybe tents or firepits ?
Or just to buy a meal at a meet ?
Any surplus used to give to charity ?
Maybe to reimburse those who use fuel on a forum related trip ?
It would be nice to build up a fund for all those and not to care who has donated a pound or substantially more !
Come on you tight wads get your wallets out ? Or purses !

Just trying to find my way around... Do you think it might be good to have an on-going chatter thread, so that we all know where to head to just say Hi or something? That's if general chit-chat's ok? There could be a new one each month or something, to save it getting uncomfortably big. Oh and can we use this smiley lots for Basildog please >>  ;D ;D ;D |

Actually no expenses will be incurred for this forum... it's all completely free woohoo! Some click through advertising banners may be placed on the page by the forum provider (proboards) But we may have a whip round/donate button at some stage for communal items like fire pits, marquees, stickers, or other items of common interest  |

How exciting - a new forum. This is my first post and I've not got a clue what I'm doing so here goes.
Firstly a huge thanks to Vern for setting it all up.
Please can we have a 'virtual campfire' - somewhere that we can come to chat, have a drink, a laugh or a cry or just to chill!!!

It shouldn't have disappeared but to avoid extensive "gaming," you can only rep someone once per hour, that's a standard setting - I'm not sure if that can be altered, it probably can be if I delve deeply enough or add more code!
So if you've just repped someone, you may have to wait an hour before you can do it again.

You rep someone by clicking on the [like] link which is next to one of their posts under their name.
If you use the quick reply box under the post you wont get smilies but if you use the reply to post or quote link under the post you will get a full reply box with smilies and other gadgets on.
