I have two cylinders Gaslow. I don't find the gauges are much use at all...either full or empty and nothing in between.

3.9kg propane cylinder - last replaced December 2012. It's been an economical year!

I don't know how you all get away with using so little. Still, I only use about 60kg a year, 10 changes on the 6kg cylinder which is less than £100 for cooking, heating and fridge. Beat that price for a house's worth for a year!

I would normally use more than this - missing out on my 12 day trip around Scotland with the fridge on, cooking and using it for boiling hot washing/washing-up water saved a full cylinder.
In a more representative year, I'd use about 2.5 x 3.9kg cylinders.

My consumption is Truma water boiler 10L and 3 burner hob. An oven/grill to be added very soon.

Which is why We used the Van for sleeping/cooking in when We did up a House a while back....would be doing the same at home if only it was safe to park where I live! It's pretty sobering when You consider the Standing Charge on Household Gas Bills...... Oh, would be a double-entry in the Poll for Me......Butane for 'Summer', Prop. for Winter.....13kg. Bottles outside the van (changing over now as wind chill factor affected the butane this w/e!)

Why do you bother changing from one to the other ? ...Cos bottles are outside the van & Butane freezes up in't winter. (We ain't all got big posh vans with lockers!.... )

Bet you like the colour blue better or some nonsense ? All that swapping around of bottles is making me tired just thinking about it !!!!!!! Do not mention awnings !

Get a naughty ebay adapter. Then propane will cost you £8-£9 a fill up. It's a shekel counters heaven! Plus you can even spray the bottle blue

I've voted as not using any gas but actually I use a camping gas stove with butane cartridges, so maybe I should have voted other.
And also Mr Farty Pants Dirty Diesel supplies plenty of gas in his own way.
