We got an off cut at Carpet Right and cut it to fit ourselves, cost all of £17 for a 26ft motorhome.

We parked up outside our local carpet shop, got the guy to have a look. Fitted myself, can't remember how much, but was well cheap.

With the officers I made mats for the front, edged them myself, took a few evenings sat with wool and a big needle. To do the whole lot would have taken more patience than I've got.

You could go to the factory outlets, there's one in Wilton, near Salisbury, or the one in Axminster. They have some bound carpets or do it yourself, takes a while I am binding ours with strong cotton tape.

Not sure if its any help,
But disliking the "nearly fitted" rug look of edged carpet in a motorhome, it is possible to fit them neatly to the full floor space and then remove them and use a thick yacht varnish on the edges which when set stopps the carpet from ever running when lifting out to clean.
I ve used this method with great results and cost savings when wanting to make a "shaped rug" in the centre of lounges in rental property when the floor boards have been polished .

That's a good idea, Tommy!
Do the edges look alright? They'll be a darker colour, I suppose?

The edges go slightly stiff where the varnish sets but on a quality piece of royal blue wilton they looked great with no colour change - When i got the house back the edges were fine and when I say I got the house back the edges were probably the only thing in the house that didnt need attention as they managed to destroy everything else !
