I got one of these today am dead chuffed with it. Its a little strip light with 4 LEDs, it has aa on off switch, and also has motion sensor that comes on only in dim conditions when it detects movement. I have put one in my wardrobe which doesn't have any light in it so can be hard to see whats at the bottom. Just sticks on with sticky pad and takes 3 x AAA batteries, works brilliantly, Have just had loads of fun in van playing at lighting up bottom of wardrobe! Sure it will wear off eventually!! It was £7 or £8 cant find receipt but included batteries.

Anne, I bet that one in your wardrobe is going on and off all the time whilst you are driving and your clothes are swaying about!
I might get one. It will amuse Ruby for hours at night when we leave her in the van on her own!

You can turn it off though.. but I havent... will have to try sneaking up on it when moving..hmm again, not easy - think I need a volunteer wardrobe watcher!

I've fitted mine and it works fine, and is quite bright. If you open the door quickly it comes on,but its possible to open the door very slowly and it stays off.Stays on for 10 seconds.

I had a stroll around Aldi in Biggleswade yesterday and found 2 x 8 LED Torches and 1 x 2 White LED and 1 Red LED headtorch, in other words 2 hand torches and 1 headtorch all including batteries for £4.99.
I bought the set even though I've already got head and hand torches, at this price I couldn't not buy them. I tried them out and they are great, really powerfull and the headtorch on Red is great for night map reading as it doesn't impair your night vision.
You can't have too many torches, right?

I agree, you can't have too many Rob, torches that is!! And I wondered what the red light on my head torch is for Doh!! If I had a nearby Aldi I would get a set too, you could prob even resell on Ebay for more than that

Thank you so much xx Life: unfinished threads in a never-ending tapestry You are very welcome Marie, glad its so "conveient"!! Lidil have got them in again, more varieties than last time plus some LED strips, which also look good. Can really recommend these 0 have bought 2 more for the house as I have very odd wiring so if you come in the living room front door, you have to walk through in the pitch black to the fat side to find the light switch, Similarly with cellar, there is a light switch at top and bottom, but where evr you turn it off is the only plave you can turn it on!! Which often means negotiating stone steps in the dark with no hand rail either and a sheer drop to your right - i did once slip down and shot down half the staits, fully expecting to land on a couple of bikes below when I uinexpectedly just came to a complete standstill, couldn't believe my luck! www.lidl.co.uk/cps/rde/SID-E6F9F8EC-AB0B8C96/www_lidl_uk/hs.xsl/our-offers-2491.htm?action=showDetail&id=7457www.lidl.co.uk/cps/rde/SID-E6F9F8EC-AB0B8C96/www_lidl_uk/hs.xsl/our-offers-2491.htm?action=showDetail&id=7458also got a nice fleece for £6.99.. www.lidl.co.uk/cps/rde/SID-E6F9F8EC-AB0B8C96/www_lidl_uk/hs.xsl/our-offers-2491.htm?action=showDetail&id=7451
