Just a quick update I have removed the shower cubicle/loo as it was just taking up too much room.I am planning on making a small box to put loo in on other side with a small curtain that will go around it.As for the space left going to extend the kitchen and make a prep area for food as well as some extra cupboards and drawers. All this has opened up the space in the van much much more and has made it a lot brighter inside.Has also made easier access to the overhead compartment for even more storage.

Hi Doodles, I think thats a really good idea and much better to use of space. Will it mean its easier to see behind with rear view mirror too? always a plus with me, i hate that blind spot. Dont know if this could apply in your van as sink is in middle, but in mine you can slide out the loo and unfold the wardrobe door to section off the van into 2 halves, so you have loo out and can have strip wash at sink in complete privacy. doesnt have to be a door, curtains would be fine and could even make the back seating area nice and snug in the winter...just a thought!

Hi Anne yes a much better view through rear mirror now.As for the loo with the layout of the van so far we will have to have it on the left hand side to the left of the the sliding door when you go in.One of the big reasons for the change of plan is because when it comes to registering as a motor caravan the new stricter laws state you must have cupboard space so thats all that new space will become.Ive read some horror stories on people getting refused a new v5 registration due to not meeting tough criterea.maybe we should put a list up somewhere of requirments so people know before starting their build so it can be a smooth transition.
