My new van has got 2 x 12 v sockets in the back that connect to the leisure battery, but they are not like the normal cigarette type lighter size, they are much smaller. Phil called then "Continental " sockets. and said I can buy adaptors for them, but I havn't been able to find any on t'internet. Does anyone have any idea what they are called or what I should be searching for? Thankyou

Thankyou very much Charlie, thats very kind. no worries if you can't find it, at least I know what to look for now. I saw those 12v/24v things but didn't think it would be 24v so discounted them

Thanks Ellis boy, had a look but cant see what I want... which is a way to charge things via USB socket. Have already got a couple of standard cigarette lighter fittings with USB on them so either need an adaptor to plug one of these into the din plug, or a USB socket that plugs directly intot the din plug. Think I may have to call in at Maplns next time I am in a town with one

Hi Dai thanks for suggestion, that looks neat. Carol has picked up an adaptor from maplins (I hope) and so will use that first and then at least i can plug things in as away in it at the weekend, then will get more of an idea of what the best thing to do would be. Are you in France by the way?
