We parked up, put the kettle on then the farmer arrived to collect money from everyone. Can't remember how much for a couple of hours but wasn't much. He asked if we were staying the night so happy for that. There is a notice on the gate to say where to go to pay...

It cost me £5 a night but that varies according to size of van. Parking all day is £2 I think and there are rates fir a couple fo hours or so,cant exactky rememeber. The farmer turns up and clooects the money

He looked at my Transit, looked me up and down, sucked his teeth and pronounced £6 overnight for a van the size of mine. But he has to make a living, pay for signs and rubbish disposal so fair enough. It's put me off using it regularly but I'd go occasionally which is probably the farmer's intention. He is very good at turning up within a few minutes of parking up ~ I reckon he has hidden spy cameras
