I have a vw t4 and struggling to find a place for everything. Any ingenious ideas for storage in small vans?

In my T4 I used stackable storage containers under the R/R bed.

My van is a different layout. Doesn't have a r and r bed. Has a kitchen at the back of the van so lose all that storage. Used to put bedding, chairs etc on the back when travelling in the old one. Don't think there's much I can do but someone might come up with something I've not thought of.

I used stackable storage boxes in my T4 behind the drivers seat. We managed 3 weeks round Scotland with Me, my mum and Beau like that, a box each for clothes (not including Beau), the rest was kitchen stuff and food! I did have a rock and roll bed to stuff things under but it was very tight for room. I then upgraded to an Ikea corner cupboard which helped! Then I sold it and have bought a bigger van with lots of cupboards!
Not sure that's much help, with smaller vans I think you have to be quite creative and also travel light!

I use the floor... does that count! Serioulsy, I have to get my cupboards organised!
One option may be to use a back box like Anne has or a top box. You may even be able to add a tailgate box above the back box. It could spoil the look of the vehicle, though it will be useful extra space.
Passenger footwell and seat if travelling alone. If passenger seat needed, store in plastic boxes which go in the back of van on floor and transfer to passenger and driver's footwells when parked and seats reversed.
