See the thread in community announcements for the balance which is at present£40.00 freemotorhominguk.boards.net/thread/1163/fmuk-forum-funds Post your suggestions as to what we should use funds for here. My first suggestion would be paying up front for some forum car stickers which would then be sold at a small profit (25p or 50p) to pay back into the forum funds. Other items could be firepits, charcoal, marquee etc. It's mostly for small scale items which have community benefit.

Agree with all of above, maybe a Tipi rather than a Maquee? Great for meets and will seat a dozen people, but they are fairly expensive.
Also - Xmas beer up?

Like the Teepee idea. Millie had one at Greywell. Can we have a fire in the middle?! Any idea of costs and transportability?

I would go for something like the Bison Tundra 8. This will sleep 8 people but more importantly seat 12 around the fire/woodburner. They are very easy to put up, and pack up small enough for the boot of a car. Cost would be anywhere between 400-700 quid. Put it on hold for now though, because I may be buying one for myself this year which we could use at meets.

Like all of the above suggestions but think we should prioritise those that publicise the forum eg stickers and have a longer term plan for luxuries like teepees - can't wait for that one! Agree with Doodles for suggestions to raise funds.

Probably the first use of the forum funds will be to fund a car window sticker print run.
Sticker sales will be used to replenish funds, hopefully at a small profit to increase the balance.
