We're going - just booked yesterday. Bit expensive for camping in a field but a good opportunity for us to chill for a few days and catch up with friends. It does include entrance though and we did get club discount

www.appletree-exhibitions.co.uk/Visitor%20Romsey%202013.htmlI usually find they hike the prices up for camping at these things as many people going are people with the kind of income to buy a van, and hence the organisers reckon they can tap the punters for a bit more. Still £38 including show entry not too bad if you stay a few days. Enjoy the show!

£38 is actually not that bad when you consider the £14 entrance to the show and upto 4 nights - or have I misread that?? Will check the diary when I get home tonight.... Linda

I think you can arrive Thurs. So Thurs/Fri/Sat/Sun nights and depart Monday Tenner a night + entertainment and show entrance sounds OK. But if you want EHU it's another £25, as I remember.

Sorry we missed you all, we got hijacked on Friday night with 6 grand children for the night while their parents went out for meals for various birthdays, then they collected them at around midday so that totalled Saturday, so there goes the weekend. Looks like you have had the best weather of the year so far, lucky you, we know you'll be having a great time see you soon . Lee

We're back after a great weekend helped by the lovely weather. The show is worth putting in diaries for next year - maybe as a mini meet for anyone down South. It worked out quite good value for money with up to 4 nights camping, entry into the show for 2 adults, evening entertainment (bit of a laugh but okayish after a little liquid refreshment), water and portaloos all for £38. We also had a discount as C&CC club members. It's in the beautiful grounds of Broadlands House with lots of space for the dogs to run (they were also allowed in the show), only a 15 minute walk into the lovely old town of Romsey and next to the Rapids swimming pool with showers. I treated myself to a new coat and bought a kettle and some glasses for a friends birthday as that's what she wanted ready to go in her new motorhome
