Well done vernon,i'll add my tuppennyworth when i sign in to fb, if its ok with you i'll put this on mhw, if you can put it on Wc4mh etc hopefully we can get enough presure up for a rethink by the council.

Is it really a problem Because most people book up the campsites and last minute space is not available... £70 is not an unreasonable price to pay for a prime location and I assume once you have a "ticket" you might chose to stay as long as you want for that one off price !! Note to council - could you not clamp and thus provide free security while there !!!

The council will be beggin even the undesirables there after this latest batch of weather and floods, the local economy must be at breaking point.

Don't you believe it mate.....the Hooray Henrys and their tribes have been occupying their second homes all winter long at weekends, christmas and half term holidays in resorts like Watergate Bay, Harlyn and Rock. Reading between the lines in some of their bumf, and having seen a lot of hotels being torn down and replaced with residential flats the council are trying to up-market the place so you pick the right word methinks....for campervan and motorhome owners...read "undesirables" I'm glad I've not lived here in Newquay for the last 7 summers, the place is crowded, gridlocked and strewn with litter during July and August according to friends and family.
