Blue or Red Gas?
Just come across the blue (butane?) and red (propane?) debate and just heard of BP light??
What do people think? Is it easy to have either?

Red better in cold weather,if you want to change between the two then you need two different regulators.

Same gas Carol, just a lightweight container. The biggest weighing 17 kilos for 10 kg of gas. A 12 kilo bottle from Flogas or Handygas weighs about 25 kilos so not a lot of difference. I think you need a different regulator too, at an extra cost....being BP! A waste of time if you ask me. If you don't feel able to load your gas bottle yourself someone at the shop should be obliged to do it for you.

It's just the bottle. They do a Calor Lite bottle too. I have them in 6kg.
Stick to Red/Lpg/Calor gas. In doesn't stop gassing in cold weather, and you can fill up at the LPG pumps - far cheaper than exchange bottles.

I have however for the first time had problems as jess said with the small butanebottles, must have been a bit of luck its never happened to me in the last 5yrs.
