Do you check if your vans reasonably level when parked up? I always forget to check.i have one of those small levels inside the van.Being as the fridge is a Compresser type then its only really noticeable if showering or washing up. My brother is quite fanatical about levelling and uses his ramps all the time.

The van is level if I don't fall out of bed.
I have ramps, but I have used them only once in three years. For me, if I use ramps, then it is harder to claim that you are are parked rather than camped, so I have got out of the habit and now find them more trouble than they are worth.

I've never used ramps, levellers etc on any vehicle. I generally just park as flat as practical or so my head is higher than my feet when in bed and use a bottle of water as a DIY spirit level (if at all).

I have a mini spirit level on my key ring which I test on the dashboard and along bottom of drivers window, so long as the bubble is in the middle bit somewhere I'm happy. Sometimes just shifting an inch or to forwards or backwards can make a big difference. If I was paying to use a campsite (or at a festival for a couple of days), then I'd probably use levelling ramps and try and get as level as possible on the grounds that if I'm having to pay, I might as well be as comfortable as possible. Although if I'm at a festival, even if the van is level, after a few hours, it doesn't feel like it and it doesn't really matter

My fridge is fairly tolerant of out of level. I have got a mini spirit level but I don't usually bother with it. If doing arranged camping like festival or a pub field I may use the ramps if it is a long way off. Otherwise I don't bother. I'm more likely to use traction mats under the drive wheels to avoid sinking in,

my fridge is useless when slightly out of level, but the beer doesn't stop in there to long so it doesn't matter, as long as I can walk up the hill or fall down it when heading towards bed, it's level enough for me

I find it's best to be reasonably level for sleeping and if you want a shower, otherwise there has to be a lot of mopping to get rid of the water. But iI wouldn't use the ramps when wilding , I wouldn't be happy with that.

I don't like the look of my ramps as they are yellow If on the off chance I had to leave in a hurry without then,I wouldn't be too upset ;D
