This sounds great and it's a super spot right on the banks of the River Wye on the edge of the city.
Unfortunately, I'll be unable to make it because I'm (hopefully) heading off to Scotland then.
A great venue - hopefully to be used again in the future.

Thanks for the link. I'm off to Scotland shortly after on the 11th , but if I can make it I will. I'll post on that other site when/if I know for certain.

I expect to be in France by then...otherwise I would have no excuse, Hereford being my home town.

So sorry to hear about Julie, Rob, she is really suffering this year Yeah I'm afraid lifes been like that for her for several years now. She's had Shingles before and it's quite nasty. We really need it to clear up before Scotland!

That it is Nigel! She has so many chronic conditions (6 at the last count), that we are used to having to cancel meets/meals/holidays etc at the last minute. In fact Charlie reckons that she is my imaginary friend because he has never met her. I'm gonna show him a picture of her with Harvey my pet giant Rabbit! Have a good meet!

Sympathy re the shingles. My Father-in-law has a nasty dose of it himself at the moment and has been in quite a bad way. Harvey - your pet giant rabbit? I'd love to see the pic too to compare sizes with Walter, my conti-giant.

Unfortunately my 'Harvey' is imaginary - hehe ; en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harvey_%28film%29As a child though we did keep New Zealand Giants but nowhere as big as Walter!

I'm going to Scotland in a couple of weeks if Julie's well by then! We went last November and again in February (have visited about 70 or 80 times now!). We also plan to go several more times this year, I can't get enough of it (especially Applecross). I have always loved the Highlands and West coast and would rather be there than anywhere else in the world (seriously!).

Who is down at Hereford then? I know Baslildog and Moonshadow and I think Mini's Martin are going down. Did Winddancer make it ?

Thanks to all those who attended from this forum. I hope to run this again next year. 40 vans turned up. Great area for a fire. Loads of pubs in Hereford and we were almost in the town.
