What food do we have growing wild this month folk?

Got a nice bag of watercress last Sunday. Abundant in streams and ponds throughout the UK. A warning; don't eat raw watercress picked from still water because the Liverfluke larva likes to attach itself to the stalks. You should be safe with the stuff you get from running water though, if well washed. Also, to preserve stocks try not to pull it out by the roots.
Ramsons (wild garlic) in full flow now here in Cornwall.
Gorse (Furze) flowers are a nice colourful nutty addition to a salad.
