What items do you carry in your van, that you can use while Wildcamping ? In my van is:
Dutch oven and trivet for open fire Fire lighters Cobb cooker Folding saw Machete Leatherman multi tool Bow saw Lock knife Fire stone Gas igniter with spare fuel Single burner suitcase stove + fuel Hand axe Head torch Mag lite torch
There might be some more when I look in the van ;D

Great mental picture of you with your glasses fenced into place!! I presume you just unravel a bit of wire though, not wrap your head in fencing?!

gave me an immediate memory of seeing my son in law for the first time,he'd trodden on his only pair and snapped them in 2 and broke the arms off.he was coming towards me on a narrow track driving a double decker with his glasses held permanently on his face with loads of elastoplas

my friend spent a whole camping trip with her glasses held in place with a tent peg across ther top, it gace her a really funny sort of stern grumpy look, and gave us endless amusement that she didnt find atall funny!!

spare pair of glsses ok they not my prescrtion one but able to read text on phone which icant do without mine on so no Elastoplas on mine

i was gonna say kitchen roll but Anne beat me to it. its one of those things you have to have lots off especially when water is limited. it does add to cost of camping but your saving in many other ways so its all good

The joys of being OCD, it can be good sometimes but it takes forever for me to get things done as they have to be perfect, otherwise I can't tick them off the list!
