Hi everyone, who we met at the valentines meet at the Victoria Pub in Oxford, this was Carol and mine's first meet and would like to say thanks to all of you for being so welcoming and understanding as both of us really struggled with our ailments for the weekend, I know a few were disappointed with the pub and meal but perhaps we were lucky as both of our meals were great, (whoops upset the apple cart now) also special thanks foe Janie for getting us a lift into Oxford on Sat morning. We will both look foward to meeting up again hopefully both in better condition ha ha, lots more trouble with my eyesight looks like it's long term unfortunately, Carol's tooth still hanging in there ouch. See you all again all the best where ever you are.

It was good to meet you both. I'm with you... I really enjoyed both my pub meals but maybe we just made lucky choices Hope you both get your ailments sorted nice and soon... don't know how you both stay so cheerful through the pain. Good luck and hope to see again one day, maybe with some better weather next time!

Was nice to meet you too, sorry to hear you're both still suffering, hope it won't be for too long.
My meals were OK as well, though a tad pricey (but it was Oxford, after all!).

Nice to meet everyone! My meal was OK if very pricey for what it was. £12.50 for the Charcuterie platter = few bits of different kinds of salami, 2 dolmades, small triangle of cheese, 6 bits of bread, 3 Gherkins, couple of relish pots, and some salad leaves. The other pub, the Red Lion was nicer
