Just wondered if many would be up for a hog roast at a meet as I have scoured the land and sea and found a wood or charcoal hog roast spit we can probably hire . Am told it takes 5 to 7 hours to cook a whole pig and plenty of beer ! Guess would be in the spring or summer

Sounds good I'm always available for a bit of crackling. Let us know a date and place.

Sounds good. What is cost of the spit + cost of the whole pig. We may need quite a few people to make it stack up. £10 each with 20 people would give us £200... if you don't mind eating pig all weekend. I think I could cope! If Glenn comes, he will have to survive on the arse onions

If Glenn comes, he will have to survive on the arse onions Vernon, you make it sound so tempting. Not something you would choose off a menu is it?

I didn't actually catch him in the act, but the evidence was there! And yes, herbs will be very much needed
