This is the latest addition to the family. He is sort of a rescue dog. He belonged to one of my grandsons. He moved into a new flat and the landlord would not let him keep the dog. His sister had him next and she also lived in a flat and her landlord would not let her keep him either. So rather than let him go to a rescue center I adopted him. He is a Staffy Boxer cross, his name is Rocco and he is one year old. No doubt most of you will be meeting him in the near future. .... Tom .... image share

Whoop whoop, he looks fab, all the staffie giddiness and excitability with long boxer jumper legs, he's gonna keep you fit :-D
Hopefully he and Diesel will get on and can tire themselves out playing chase at farmer phil's, while Rigg supervises ;-)
What a lovely story, Tom, happy endings all round x

Looks a very nice dog, Tom WVW should give you some tips on how to be Pack Leader, cos I'm kinda thinking you've got double trouble with a staffie/boxer cross!!! Eek! I bet Rocco's a right nutcase, am I right?! WVW's staffie, Diesel, is a total sweetheart, a delightful and obedient dog with a lovely nature, but she's had to work hard for over a year to get him where he is. If he's been in 2 different homes in less than a year the poor little bugha will be needing all your love and attention Can't wait to meet him! xx

From what I can make out Rocco and his siblings had a terrible start in life. I am not sure how many pups the mother had but she killed two of them so one of my grandsons took Rocco far to early and the RSPCA took the others and hand reared them. Rocco was also bottle fed on some special puppy milk until he was 12 weeks old. He seems to be over his bad start now coz he is a pest and is getting his own back at the moment. .... Tom ....

Took Rocko for a walk on the local park. We came across this little dog. He went into his stupid mode and ran up to it full pelt. This dog gave him one of those looks like any second now I am going to kill you. Rocko did his party piece spinning round then jumped up and tried wrestling him. This dog was bemused and just as I thought he was about to be spending his last day on earth, I took a few pics to remember him. imagur

To be honest I knew what was coming because they have met a few times before and they always end up rawling about. After half an hour they was both cream crackered. Poor Kaiser had to walk home across the park past that van in the distance. The other dog only lived about 20 yards away. Ah well just another day in dopey's life. .... Tom .... free pic

I still do that Tom (see highlighted text). I often call Ruby Sapph which was the name of our last dog. Shows we are still thinking of them mate!

I never noticed I'd called him that. When we first met this dog it was just like the photos but I had no camera with me. I thought hell he is going to end up like Kaiser but he just mesmerized him and they proceeded to have fun. That big dog is a rescue dog and they can be a bit dodgy. I was very worried at first. ....
