Grief! What was up with it? What took most of the time was a wiring problem. Eura Mobil slow in replying and when they did reply, they sent a diagram that bore no relation to what was actually there. UK dealers couldn't help. So they got a specialist in, who also spoke to Fiat and finally fixed it. There was also some accident damage to be repaired - an artic hit me last year. Similar problem, finding someone who could fix the mirror (mine is an integral motorhome)...several places, including the UK dealers said they couldn't fix it. Eventually, the insurers found someone, but by then the MOT and service was due and that needed repairs to the exhaust. Then the ECU played up, giving warning lights when it should, so the van was shunted round to a Fiat dealer, who spent a lot of time on the phone to Italy. Finally, it went to the body shop, whose suppliers sent the wrong part, but finally it was fixed and they delivered the van back to me. Unfortunately, they had an accident on the way over and broke the mirror again, so I sent them away again. Nothing much. :/

Actually, I am having an odd return to wilding, too.
I'm currently perched on a hill next to Blaenavon, a site I have used a few times before without any problems. Last night, though, I had a knock on the door at about 10:00 and I groaned to myself that I was going to get moved on. But it turned out to be a young lad who had been there for a few hours with his girlfriend. Apparently the electrics had gone on his car and did I know anything about jump starting a car – I don't. Both their phones were dead, too, so I lent him mine to call for help...no answer. So I took them home.
Tonight, a man turns up on a bright yellow quad bike, and wanders round the grass surrounding the car park while talking into (presumably) his radio comms inside his helmet. I didn't think anything of it, until he came up to me and asked me if I had stayed last night (and I am getting that groaning feeling, again). Then he asked me if there was any trouble up here, last night, you know lads in their cars. Apparently, he comes up here twice a day to make sure that no needles have been left lying around. I mentioned I was staying a second night and he nodded and told me, if there is any trouble, to phone Gwent police. He said that three times, before tootling off.
This used to be such a NICE spot!!

I'm guessing, are you up by Keeper's Pond? If so, it's fine in winter and out of season and you might be joined by an occasional van or two but mid-summer and Fri/Saturday evenings, it's quite busy so one I always avoid at this time of year.
