Took my daughter in the Transit to N.London IKEA .Didnt even enter my mind about the LEZ Zone! Im a Londoner born and bred, but havent been back there for many years.Got a warning letter but no fine.Wont be bothering going back, not even interested in where the boundary is, or the cost, I wont go anywhere within the M25, that'll sort it!

Glad to hear you got a warning and not a fine. I had been wondering if that was still true. It's a pain in the neck trying to find out the boundaries of the Zone and I have had to forgo some trips because it sneaks just inside the zone by 100 meters!
Others may be interested in the cost, because it is substantial and starts at around £1,500!!! Definitely worth avoiding.
btw, you can drive along the M4 inside the M25, but, you can not leave it without entering the zone!

I've calmed down over this now! Realised just after buying My Vito just what the LEZ meant for Me!! Use Trooper for work now (Old 'H' Reg, 2.8 TD BUT It's a Car so obviously it causes no Pollution....) Gutted that I can't spend W/E's camping in London tho'!.....

Just checked the latest info and penalty prices seem to have reduced, thank goodness!
Motor caravans 2.5 - 3.5 tonnes gross vehicle weight £500 over 3.5 tonnes £1000
If paid within 14 days it's half price.
Still sucks though.
Charges in advance are £100 per day unless over 3.5 then it's £200.
