And we have a camping cat here too.
And in a couple of weeks I hope to be posting a photo of my wild camping poinsettia which survived a month in the van in September and which is doing very nicely and will hopefully be in full flower for Christmas :-)

Poinsettias obviously thrive being hung from the ceiling of the cab in full sun and the occasional frost at night, and seem to do well in drought conditions followed by monthly flooding, and regular pruning of new leaves by the cat.
I have no idea how it's survived, I'm amazed. It's been pretty badly abused all year but it was a pressie from a good friend in return for a day dog-sitting last year and so I'm really pleased. Perhaps it takes after me, the more abuse it gets, the more it's determined to survive!

I had a Poinsetta in the van last Christamas. It was a mini one I won at an Xmas bridge game early in December. I called him Mr Poinsetta I tried to keep him warm and light and even in the van he survived well till well into February. Unfortunately I think the Southern Frosties meet at Stonehenge got to him, it was -14 and I couldn't stop the van from freezing inside. It was all downhill after that

There will be camping bunnies. I just need to work out how to transport them in the PoshMobile.
Walter has his new Live Hay'd chariot - but I can't lift it!!

It eventually curled up and passed away peacefully (kissed off?) on my kitchen window-sill last week

The mistletoe you gave me at Stonehenge Mini lasted until the weekend which was pretty good going.
